‘Survival Skills for Community Groups beyond 2012’

South Yorkshire Rural Network Project FREE event for community groups and voluntary and community organisations!!

Come along and find out about the support we can offer and get free training and advice to help your project or group survive and prosper!

The event will include helpful training workshops on:
  • Sources of funding available to community groups
  • Running community buildings effectively
  • Marketing your group and using social media
  • Advice and support available from partners and organisations
  • Supporting each other through a rural network
There will be plenty of time to ask questions, talk to project partners about how they can help you and network with other community groups like yours.

A free buffet and refreshments will be provided on arrival from 6:00pm and the event will start at 6:30pm.

The South Yorkshire Rural Network Project has been providing advice and support to rural community groups and voluntary and community organisations over the last three years and we would really like to hear your views about whether the support has been helpful and what we could do to improve.  There will be an opportunity to find out more about what we have been doing over the last 3 years and to give your valuable feedback on the project.  Please let us know what you think!!

The event is free, but we ask that you book a place so that we can cater for you.

To book a place, please contact Lucy Atkins on 07834 322296, lucy.atkins@ruralyorkshire.org.uk
