Have a look round at the fantastic improvements just made at this village hall in Kirkby Fleetham. Start with a tea or coffee and biscuits; end with a hearty home-made soup (including a vegetarian option - please remember to pass us your dietary requirements!) Have a look at the displays showing different aspects of creating welcoming community buildings. Share experiences with others and ask questions of the expert panel.

All village halls and community leaders are welcome, as well as anyone with responsibility for a community building in these regions of Yorkshire. This is a great chance to come together and learn more about making your environment more welcoming and accessible to all. Community buildings are a great place to start that process, enabling rural areas to address such issues as isolation and loneliness as they are a first point of call in social interaction for many.

Please contact us if you would like to know more or would like to attend. If you would like some display space, have specific expertise to share, or to suggest more topics for discussion and workshops, please also give us a call on 0845 313 0270 or email
