Community Friendly Buildings Introductory Event | Meeting | Osmotherley

Date:
Saturday, 18 October 2014 - 9:30am - 12:30pm
Location:

Osmotherley Village Hall, South End, Osmotherley, DL6 3BN

Event organised by Rural Action Yorkshire

Come and find out more about our Community Friendly Buildings Project, which aims to support rural community buildings in the Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby areas to become more responsive to the needs of people in their local community.

The event will help generate new ideas on welcoming more people to events or activities at your village hall or other community building. There will be light refreshments, an introduction to the support that RAY can provide as part of the project, a session on little changes that can help draw people in, and the opportunity to meet others from other village halls.

You will be able to sign up to the project, so that over the coming months you will be able to discuss developments at your village hall with Tess McMahon from Rural Action Yorkshire, to receive information on subjects such as dementia awareness and funding, and to attend follow up events in 2015.

Attendance at the event is free, but please book your place in advance by calling 0845 313 0270 or by emailing us.
