About Us & Staff

Rural Action Yorkshire (RAY) works with villages and smaller rural communities throughout North, West and South Yorkshire to help improve the quality of life of the people who live and work there.

We are all about enabling and empowering communities to develop their confidence to help themselves, and to ensure their needs are heard by policy makers and service providers - locally, regionally and nationally.

We are a membership organisation, and becoming a member means you can access the full range of support from us, keep up to date on new legislation and licensing laws, and be the first to hear about our events, projects and training in your area. Become a member today and join the hundreds of other village halls, parish councils and organisations invested in making Yorkshire an even greater place to be.
